Elegantly proportioned black lacquer cabinet, with drawer, both doors, top, and side panels inlaid with exquisite hand carved mother- of- pearl figures in "4 Ladies" design. Finished in a rich, clear lacquer. Doors and drawer front are curved bent wood. Special order in hand painted gold leaf, white or red lacquer, and or with "Birds and Flowers" design. Brass hardware is clear lacquered to resist tarnish. Black lacquered interior, with removable shelf.
