      The 6 panel Phoenix coromandel screen is a 7 foot tall, large, solid piece of fine furniture, a substantial room divider as well as a stunning decorative art accent, great for formal or modern eclectic home decor. Each screen is carefully and sturdily crafted from kiln dried Birch frames, covered by wood laminate, and finely finished with red Ming lacquer over layered clay Coromandel. The extraordinary, hand carved, hand painted design is a traditional Ming Phoenix rising motif, with no two screens exactly alike; backside is painted lacquer. True to the original Ming style, each panel has 2 inch feet trimmed with brass collars to protect the lacquer from foot traffic.
